Prevention of Birds and other animals nesting under Solar Panels is key to the longevity of the system. The space under Solar Panels is a perfect nesting ground for such small animals, it is warm, dry and offers protection from predators.
Solar Panels are an investment and also your own Power Station, it is worth protecting.
Bird Guard is usually installed at the same time as the Solar Panels, however, these can be fitted at a later date if pests become a problem, or your existing Bird Guard is tired and worn.
The droppings from such animals can be corrosive, taking protective layers from the Solar Panel. With Birds constantly flying over the Panels will also decrease your production.
